The game is set in a horror-themed pizza restaurant called Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, where the player must act as a night security guard, working from midnight to 6 am, to defend themselves from the animatronic characters.

Gameplay

The Five Nights at Freddy's video game is a point-and-click survival horror game. The player must use the mouse to control the security camera to look around the pizzeria and keep an eye on the animatronic characters. 

If an animatronic character comes too close to the player, the player must close the door to the security office to keep them out. If an animatronic character manages to get into the security office, the player must use the Freddy Fazbear head to frighten them away. 

If an animatronic character comes into the room, the player must close the door to keep the animatronic out. If an animatronic character is in the room for too long, the player will lose the game. The game features four playable animatronic characters: Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie the Bunny, Chica the Chicken, and Foxy the Pirate Fox.
