Portal 64: First Slice has exited the beta phase

James Lambert has devoted several years to developing a Nintendo 64 edition of the game Portal. This version, unfortunately, includes only the initial 13 stages, which have been previously accessible but have just recently progressed beyond the beta phase.

Although these levels can be fully experienced on the Nintendo 64, there's a significant amount of work left before the full game can be completed. In his recent video update, Lambert expresses a need for additional assistance to finish the project. For those interested in trying out this retro adaptation, it is now available for download. To play this demake, you'll need either a physical Nintendo 64 console or an emulator that supports the game.
