Pocketpair, the development team behind the hit game Palworld, has openly admitted facing a significant shortage of personnel needed to keep up with the game's success. On their X/Twitter account, which provides updates in Japanese, the company expressed that they have a considerable amount of work ahead and are actively seeking individuals to fill roles across the board.
They specifically invited applicants with experience working with various game engines, and they expressed a strong interest in candidates skilled in project planning and engineering.
The message from the studio, as translated by PC Gamer, read: "At Palworld, we're confronted with a long to-do list, but our team is severely undermanned! We're on the hunt for talents for every kind of role, particularly planners and engineers!"
The call was extended to those who have dealt with any game engine and who are intrigued by the opportunity to contribute to the evolution of a novel game genre. Pocketpair encourages interested applicants to step forward and join their team.
In the meantime, Pocketpair has released a new update for Palworld, fixing an issue regarding the breeding farm. Thanks to this patch, companions sent to the breeding area will no longer suffer from such intense fatigue that they fall asleep indefinitely after reproducing.
