Avalanche Studios has announced a fresh wave of job cuts and the shuttering of two locations. The studio behind popular titles like the Just Cause series, Mad Max, and Rage among others, disclosed on their official webpage the difficult news of ceasing operations at two out of their five global offices (situated in New York and Montreal), in addition to cutting down their worldwide staff by 9%, equating to 50 positions being eliminated. Choosing this path was an incredibly difficult decision, but we view it as an essential move to ensure a steady and flourishing future for our company," was conveyed in their statement.
