If you're a fan of classic side-scrolling platformers, Miles & Kilo is a must-have game on your 3DS. Developed by Michael Burns Games and published by Four Horses Limited, this game is a loving tribute to some of the greatest platformers of all time.

Gameplay

The gameplay in Miles & Kilo is very reminiscent of classic platformers from the 8-bit and 16-bit eras. The player must guide Miles and Kilo through a series of obstacles and enemies, using quick reflexes and clever strategy to make it to the end of the level. The controls are simple and easy to learn, but there is a surprising amount of depth to the gameplay.

The game is a side-scrolling platformer. The player can run, jump, and attack enemies. The player can also use various items that they find in the environment, such as a fire extinguisher, to defeat enemies.

Graphics

The graphics in Miles & Kilo are colorful and eye-catching. They are not quite on the level of some of the best-looking mobile games, but they are still very good. The characters and environments are well-detailed, and the animations are smooth and fluid.

Controls

The controls in Miles & Kilo are simple and easy to learn. The left side of the screen controls Miles, while the right side controls Kilo. The controls feel responsive and accurate, and I never had any trouble navigating the levels. You control Miles or Kilo by tapping the screen to make them jump.

You can also double-tap to make them jump higher. If you want to run, you just hold your finger down on the screen. You can also make Miles or Kilo perform a spin attack by double-tapping and then quickly swiping in the opposite direction. The game is over if either Miles or Kilo falls off the edge of the screen or if they are hit by an enemy.

Replayability

Miles & Kilo is a relatively short game, but it is still a lot of fun to play. The levels are well-designed and challenging, and the game has a high replay value. I found myself going back to earlier levels to try and get a better score, and I enjoyed playing through the game again.
